The nights are dark.
The cells are cold, and the soldiers march
In perfect lines, in practiced symmetries.
Google Earth retreats, retreats until we live on one tiny marble-
Then zooming down, closer, closer,
The darkness rules in North Korea,
No food, no lights, only fight.
Preventing the day, free Koreans pray
With tears overflowing
For their captive cousins,
Starving in the darkness
Across barbed wire fences.
Google Earth shows South Korea
All light, all night,
A land where all is calm, all is bright.
